We believe people experiencing trauma should not have to navigate complicated systems alone.

You deserve to be heard. You deserve support. You deserve a path forward.

NJCA is building a network of advocacy, support, research, education, and trauma informed services designed to help individuals and families find safety, stability, healing, and a meaningful path forward.

Who we support

Harm doesn’t happen in just one place.

We recognize that harm can occur in many settings, and that navigating legal, social service, healthcare, employment, educational, protective, or other systems can sometimes deepen a person’s trauma.

Older adults and people with disabilities may face additional barriers to safety, independence, communication, reporting abuse, accessing services, and being heard.

Our Mission

National Justice & Care Alliance exists to promote safety, dignity, justice, and meaningful access to support for individuals and families affected by violence, abuse, stalking, harassment, elder abuse, abuse or exploitation of people with disabilities, trauma, and complex institutional systems.

Through trauma informed navigation, advocacy, education, supportive services, community partnerships, and access to resources, NJCA works to reduce barriers, strengthen individual and family stability, and help people move from crisis toward safety, healing, independence, and long term well being.

Our Vision

We envision communities where individuals and families, including older adults and people with disabilities, experiencing violence, abuse, exploitation, trauma, or crisis can find safety and meaningful support without being turned away simply because their circumstances are complicated.

Our goal is not simply to help people survive a crisis. It is to help create the conditions in which individuals, children, and families can heal, rebuild, and thrive.

Long-term vision

An integrated network of support.

Our long term vision is to create an integrated network of support that helps people rebuild stable and independent lives. Each part connects to the others, so asking for help in one place opens the door to more.

Status: Planned

Trauma can affect every part of a person’s life, and the systems intended to help should not create additional harm.

NJCA seeks to expand access to trauma informed mental health services, education, screening, referrals, and specialized support for adults, children, families, older adults, and people with disabilities.
