Get help
You don’t have to figure this out alone.
Whatever you are facing, you deserve to be heard and supported. Start with the option that feels safest for you right now.
If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
If it isn’t safe to talk, many areas let you text 911. If texting isn’t available where you are, you will get a message telling you to call instead.

Staying safe online
Your safety comes first, on and offline.
If someone may be monitoring your phone or computer, these steps can help. No method is completely private, so use what feels right for your situation.
The Quick Exit button on every page takes you straight to a neutral website. You can also press Esc twice.
-
Use a safer device
If you can, use a device the person causing harm cannot access, such as a trusted friend’s phone or a public library computer.
-
Browse privately
A private or incognito window doesn’t save your browsing history on that device. It won’t hide your activity from your internet provider or monitoring software.
-
Clear your history with care
Clearing your entire history suddenly can draw attention. Removing only specific pages may feel safer.
-
Leave quickly
Use Quick Exit or press Esc twice at any time. The page is replaced, so the back button won’t bring you here.
Reach NJCA
Tell us what you need.
NJCA is in its startup stage, and our support programs are still being built. You can still reach out. We will share what we can offer and point you toward other resources.
